Questions
What's the difference between the school day and Events?+
High schools run the phone-free school day, a cheaper, no-hardware alternative to lockable pouches, with rewarded phone-free events included. Colleges run Events on its own, rewarding students for being present at campus events. Both are quoted per school.
How is NIX priced?+
Per school, per year, never per student. Every plan is quoted for your school: tell us what you need and we'll email you back with a quote. Once your quote is set, you claim your account. On an annual plan you add a card and your 14-day free trial starts. There are no hardware costs.
What counts as a sub-admin?+
A sub-admin is a staff member you invite to help manage events and scanning. The master admin (you) doesn't count against the seat cap.
Can I change plans later?+
Yes. Your quote isn't a lock-in. If your needs change, reach out and we'll adjust your plan.
Do students pay anything?+
No. NIX is completely free for students; they never pay. Schools cover the per-school subscription.
